Hi, I’m Les Vogt.
Welcome to my website!
Here we hope you’ll find some great tools to help you improve your own riding and your horse’s performance. I’ve been riding and showing performance horses for over forty years now and over that period I’ve learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t. My goal at this point in my life is to make sure that you don’t make all those same mistakes!

Through my clinics and the Cowhorse U programs, I try and help folks start off at least 20 years ahead of me, as it took me that long to figure out a lot of the methods and approaches that have consistently given me the best results with my horses. At the same time, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m still learning every day, and through my blog and some of the articles on this site, I’ll try to keep you up to date on what I’m seeing in my horses and in my clinics.

I’m also pretty excited about our new Tack Room. I developed my bit lines in order to help folks select the best bit for their horse and their ability, but I always get a lot of questions about other tack too. So we went on a mission to find or develop a selection of quality products and to offer a selection—from good to great—so that there’s something for every budget. We’re excited about what we’ve come up with and we hope you are too!
