So you've moved your horse from the snaffle, to the bosal, to the two rein, and you're ready to go straight up in the bridle. An approach I've had luck with is to replace the two rein with a little pencil bosal, with no rope, it acts as a cavesson and makes him think that you still have the two rein on him. Feels the same to him! This pencil bosal is made of rawhide on a rawhide core.
