Hand-Made Tibetan Yak Hair Mecates

Hand-made in the Kham region of Tibet, home of their greatest horsemen! We were so impressed with all the things the Tibetans made from Yak hair we just had to see how it would work for a mecate. The results are sensational! The ropes are soft with a great feel and strong as can be. Once you ride with one we don't think you'll ever ride with a horse hair one again. Also, doesn't lose it's feel if it gets wet like mohair does. Not only are you getting a great product but you'll be helping these villagers to buy needed supplies and medical care.
