| The first time I used one of these pads, it was on a pick-up horse at a roping. When I threw the saddle on that horse I could tell, he was sore and when stepped on I almost felt sorry for him. It's not fair to use a horse that isn't feeling his best. A friend handed me his new pad and told me to give it a try. I didn't think there was anything that was going to help this horse, but was I ever surprised. He worked like a youngster! Since then I brought the pad home and found that my horses just loved it too. So I contacted the manufacturer and had them make a few changes that made this the perfect pad - for me! And now it can be the perfect pad for you and your horse. If you expect your horse to perform for you, it's important that he feels good doing it. I've found that this pad can really help a horse that maybe feels a little stiff or sore, and it can do the same for you! In fact it was developed by a horseman that was afraid that back problems were going to keep him out of the saddle, but by incorporating a special industrial weight foam and a patented flex-plate, he was able to develop a tool that let him keep on riding and showing his horses.

Made of three layers of overlapping flexible polymer that move with the horse, it provides the ultimate in protection against pressure points. Thermal imaging tests have shown the Flex-Plate® system
effectively disperses the weight of the rider through the saddle
bars evenly across the horse’s back reducing soreness and increasing
range of motion.
