I'm starting/continuing work on some horses that range between 2/3 years old and this bit has everything I need to communicate well w/ them. The weight works impeccably well w/ comfort and steadiness. The longer length of mouth and ring placement allow for use and rewarding of the "bump effect" VERY well! Being someone who believes in investing in the best tack is of the utmost importance, this bit is a true favorite in function and feel and even value!!! I am very impressed with it! It has become the most used bit in my barn!
