This bit is made with a wide chain port bit. I've used this bit on my heel horse, she's kind of fragile in the face, but will still take a hold of me a little too much sometimes after I've run a lot of fast cattle. I never knew this heel horse could be so good in the corner.
One of my friends, a PRCA roper stopped by and rode her a couple of times with this bit, and he asked if he could borrow her for the Salinas Rodeo for team roping, so I’ sent her with him and he loved her!
With this wide chain port her timing on the corner is better, and she picks up on the steer’s timing like you wouldn't believe. Her neck goes down, she curls around a comer like a snake and runs right up there. Her tail is in the dirt! She’s pretty amazing to watch with this bit on her.

After placing my order for this bit, it arrived quickly via priority mail and was just as nice as the one a friend had acquired earlier. I purchased it for a friend who wanted it, and he is really happy with it.

I love this bit! I know a bit can make a difference but I didn't think it could make this big of a difference! Not only is he working the corners better, his stops are out of this world! He's always had a decent stop but nothing out of this world, at a recent break away clinic his stops were so amazing and he was so light, we received many compliments!
