Features a low-port 5 1/8” mouthpiece with roller bars and 8" long cheeks.

This bit offers a  mild mouth combined with mild cheeks and is great as a transition bit from the Argentine, or for soft mouth horses that can use some help distributing weight to hindquarters.  This is also a great bit for horses than can be fussy and reactive with other bits, as these horses feel comfortable with the lower mouth piece, but the roller bars will still give you some extra feel.

Leverage Position #1 bits are great for short-necked horses with a low neck set that need some lift at the poll to flex properly and re-distribute weight to the hindquarters.  In addition, they are also popular with breeds that have a higher head carriage and need to break at the poll to maintain it. Mouth power #1 bits are a considered a milder mouthpiece for horses with a soft mouth.

Cheeks feature beautiful  hand-engraved German Silver overlay on stainless steel, and the mouthpiece is sweet iron with copper inlay and overlays.
