This bit features no-pinch ball and tube swivel cheeks designed for total neck flexion. The mouthpiece comes down slightly on the outside of the bars, and though the port is not high enough to reach the palate on most horses - they will feel it’s movement off their tongue - allowing you to communicate with the slightest movement of your hand

Leverage Position #1 bits are great for horses that are heavy in the front end - as the leverage breaks them at the poll and helps distribute their weight to the hindquarters. Mouth power #2 bits are for the average horse.

Overall nice
I can definitely tell a difference in the bits ability to get a horse's weight off the front end. So, the leverage 1 is clearly effective in that respect. With that in mind though, I find that I am more frequently having to pull on my horse to regain the proper headset. With having to use his body correctly, he wants to lift his neck and head to make it less work. Overall, a nice bit to ride in at home. I don't believe I will use it to show in however.
