Features 8 1/2" long “no-pinch” cheeks and a 5 1/8" roller-port mouthpiece with roller bars.
This is one of Les’s favorite bits for a bridle horse. While the Mouth Power 3 bits can be a great help for a horse that’s lost respect for the bit they can also offer a whole new level of feel to an advanced rider on a well-trained bridle horse. The way this bit is balanced and the mouthpiece lays on the tongue of the horse without taking up a lot of room in his mouth, offer you a level of communication that you’ll find in few other bits without going to a spade.
Even for the hard-mouthed horse, this bit will have such a different feel to him that you’ll want to really back off and give him a chance to respond to it as you might be surprised what you get. By the same token, this bit should only be used on a horse that is very familiar with leverage and has worn a ported bit for a while.
This bit is National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) show legal.
Leverage Position 2 bits give the classic-necked horse the performance advantages of perfect neck flexion and head position. Mouth Power 3 bits are considered high power mouthpieces and should only be used on horses that are very familiar with leverage and a port. They are good for putting some feel back into a “hard-mouthed” horse, and providing a higher level of communication to a classically trained bridle horse
Cheeks feature beautiful hand-engraved German silver overlay on a stainless steel base, and mouthpiece is made from sweet iron with copper roller and roller bars.

Craftsmanship
I haven't actually used the bit yet to see how it works. The bit was received with a flaw in the cheek rosette as one of the domed rivets/caps (not sure what to call them) is missing so there is a hole in the circle of domed caps on the large rosette. I know this seems picky but it stands out like a sore thumb. Otherwise the bit looks nice. My issue with returning the product is that I have a show coming up and I want to use it and not sure i want to wait the return time and the resend time.

Works for my horse, my hands
I have this bit in the iron/silver. Everything changed for me & my arab when I took him out of the snaffle & set this bit. After a very little time, he was able to take it up, run the roller and relax. Before he had been an 'anxious' ride - now he is calm & attentive to me and my cues are clearer. I really like this bit.
